More information about the 2018 Fiesta de la Cuadrilla

We would like to invite everyone to come enjoy the FUN we have at Fiesta de la Cuadrilla. It will be happening November 2, 3, & 4, 2018. We dance on the beautiful wooden floors of the Balboa Park Club, the Gymnasium, the Recital Hall, and on Sunday morning, Round Dancers only in the War Memorial Building, all in sunny San Diego!

There will be lots of great dancing w/ John Marshall from Virginia, Bronc Wise from Colorado, & Andy Allemao from Southern California calling.

We have Wayne & Barbara Blackford from Florida & Arizona, Richard & Judy Cartwright from Southern California, & Bill Hale and Rochelle Catt (both local) cueing.

We offer Hex dancing with Andy Allemao. And for the third year in a row we will have C1 dancing on Saturday & Sunday morning.

We will host a Blast Class on Saturday, November 4 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  If you have friends, co-workers, family or even total strangers - bring them down & introduce them to Square Dancing.  Lunch will be provided to all who pay the $10.00 fee for the class. If you participate in the $6.00 Friday evening September level Student dance, or you have a Fiesta weekend ribbon, you may angel the Blast Class at no additional charge!
For the second time there will also be a Class Level/Mainstream Dance on Saturday evening.

We will have clogging back this year in the War Memorial Building from 6:00 to 9:30 pm.

For your enjoyment we have an “Hour of Entertainment” from 6:00 to 7:00pm on Saturday in the Gym. There is also an “Extra Hour of Dancing” from 9:45 to 10:45 pm in the Gym.

Don't forget our wonderful Brunch on Saturday morning, only $3.00, followed by an awesome Fashion Show! And the “Picnic in the Park” Hot Dog Dinner on Saturday night, only $4.00!

We will be hosting a Silent Auction of baskets and goodies donated by businesses, dancers, clubs and associations. You might even find a handmade quilt or two.

If you are on your way to Rivco the following weekend, please make Fiesta your “Trail Thru Dance Weekend” on the way. We will even have our own Trail End dance on Thursday November 1st in the Recital Hall.
